Everything Exmoor is a free encyclopedia, built by the community and business of Exmoor offering information on every aspect of life in the Exmoor National Park. It gathers knowledge of Exmoor in one place and signposts readers to web sites containing more detailed information.

The North Devon and Exmoor Walking Festival (which included some guided nordic walks) ran this May.
It is a wonderful opportunity to explore the best routes over Exmoor and North Devon with an experienced guide.

The organisers say that "this year [the festival] attracted 708 individuals ... who bought 1105 walk tickets for 68 guided walks...The North Devon and Exmoor Walking Festival is now one of the largest walking festivals for its duration and that no walks are repeated during the festival (other than two through demand). We do not bulk it out with charity walks but keep it purely for walkers who enjoy a good walk through glorious scenery.

Next years festival dates are Thursday 30th April to Friday 8th May 2009.

Ramblers Association
The ramblers association website. Look for a date or map search and you will find the walks in your area. You can go on 2-3 walks for free, but after that you are expected to join the RA.

Jane Alexander
Jane came to learn the nordic walking technique. I didn't know at the time that she is a journalist. She has since written her independent account of an introduction to nordic walking with me, in the Spring 2007 issue of the Exmoor Magasine which you can buy from all local newsagents.

Jane is a journalist and writer, specialising in natural health and holistic living. The Daily Mail called her "Britain’s top writer on alternative therapies" and she is well-trusted as an expert in natural medicine, holistic living and contemporary spirituality. She lives on Exmoor.
